During a diaper change last night, I put you on your tummy for a little tummy time.  You were up on your hands with her head up and rolled from your tummy to your side!  I know it was probably a fluke but it happened! :-)

I have been taking a lot of pictures on my phone and Ryan on his just because it's convenient. This wouldn't be a problem if I consistently posted them here but that hasn't been the case :-) So...to kind of play catch up I'm just going to over post a bunch of pictures from my phone.

Two months old!

Maddie, you are two months old!  Where has the time gone?!  You went to the doctor at 6 weeks and they ended up just doing your 2 month check up then so we didn't have to make another trip.  This time you saw Dr. Wendy Lotts, last time it was Dr. Upadeay(sp?).  I think we like Dr. Lotts better but may try another doc in the future.  The stats below are from your 6 week check up.  Here are some things about you at two months old:

• You weighed 10 lbs 14 oz at six weeks.  I tried to weigh you today and I believe you were in the 12 lb range.  You grew by more than 2 lbs in a month!
• Your height was 22 inches, that's 2.5 inches of growth in a month!
• You are now wearing a size 2 diaper.  This just changed as you were having several blow outs in your size one dipes.
• You are in size 3 months onesies and pants and 3-6/6 month sleepers.  You are just a long little girl and don't fit into a lot of your 0-3 month clothes.  It's kind of sad packing those away :-(
• You are mainly breastfeeding with an occasional bottle of formula here and there.  I do want to try to start pumping at least one time a day to build up some sort of a supply for when I do have to leave you.  
• You've started to sleep a bit longer at night, usually minimum of 5 hours and has been up to 7 hours or so.  Mommy LOVES this!  Some times I can get you take a 3 hour nap during the day with several shorter ones.  This does not always work though...
• Some days you do not like to be put down.
• You love baths unless we try to give you one when you are hungry.  Otherwise you are pretty good when you take one.
• You still sleep in our room.  I have tried to put you in your crib twice now.  Once on your one month birthday and another time just the other day both for naps, you last about a half hour in there and then wake up.
• You occasionally don't like car rides and scream the whole way :-)
• You are talking and cooing more often, especially when we change your diaper.
• You still have your old main mullet hair going on.

We just love your little face so much!  You are such a special little girl!

One month old!

Madelyn Ella you are one month old already!  I don't have specific stats but you wear a size one diaper by now.  You eat all the time, at least that is what it feels like to Mommy and you are a pretty good baby.

We call you several different names.  You are Madelyn, Maddie, Mad, Maddie Moops, Moopskies, Maddie Girl, Boogies, Monkey.  The list goes on :-)

You are such a little doll and have had some formula but nurse most of the time.  Mommy got sick and Daddy had to take care of you for a night and a day.  There wasn't enough breast milk so you had some formula.  You do good going back and forth from the bottle to the breast.

We both love you so very much and can't wait to see you grow!  You have changed our lives!
