How Far Along: 16 weeks
Size of baby: The size of an avocado, about 4.6 inches and 3.5 ounces
Gender: According to our early ultrasound a week or so ago, they guessed girl...but we'll know for sure if that has changed on my birthday! December 14th is our 20 week ultrasound!
Maternity Clothes: Mostly maternity clothes because of the comfort - regular shirts and sweaters often but love the length of maternity shirts with the rutched sides.
Movement: I think I've felt random movements, nothing regular though. Dr. Wong said I should be able to feel good/constant movement in the next four weeks, I can't wait! Although I'm sure once it's uncomfortable and hurtful I'll be wishing the opposite...ha.
Sleep: Tossing and turning often - I l.o.v.e. my pregnancy pillow but it's not so comfortable on my head/neck, I wake up with a headache every morning. I just love my regular pillows too much that I have to combine the two and that doesn't work out too well. I usually have to pee 2 times per night and don't want to get up so I uncomfortably toss and turn for awhile.
Symptoms: Heartburn is here... I get it almost daily but nothing that lasts all too long or is too horrible. Crabbiness sometimes, I'm sure Ryan would say differently if you asked him :-) My belly has popped quite a bit and my chest feel ginormous! I also get out of breath so fast. My face is also getting pimply again (they did go away for a little while) and also has developed random spots that are dry and red. Oh the joys :-)
What I miss: Lunch meat - I want salami sometimes ha! My skinnier legs/belly - but it's all for good reason. Going on walks daily, we still try but it definitely doesn't happen as often, it's dark by the time we get home from work now and then by that time, I'm usually tired.
Cravings: Nothing crazy, just random things on and off. Last week at night I desperately wanted moist chocolate cake and pickles. My perfect hubby ran to the store and got some at 7:30pm at night.
What I am looking forward to: The anatomy scan ultrasound next month, finding out for sure that we will have our baby girl, or baby boy!
