Size of baby: The size of an ear of corn, baby weighs around 1 1/2 pounds and measures almost 11 to 12 inches (crown to heel).
Gender: Still undetermined...
Maternity Clothes: Most definitely! This belly is getting bigger and bigger! Most regular sweatshirts and t-shirts that would normally fit me are just too short on me.
Movement: A lot more noticeable. Daddy (Ryan) has even gotten to feel two times this week! I love that he gets to feel 'her' kicking!
Sleep: Well, we had to sleep at a motel over the weekend for Grandma Bachel's funeral at a not so great place. The beds were a little soft and old, but I did okay. I was surprised that our first night back, last night, I slept for about 10 hours! That is not like my pregnant self :-)
Symptoms: Heartburn still, very large breasts (I'm in a 38D now...yikes!) lower and upper back aches, feet hurt, upper legs are swollen, fingers are swollen by end of day, dry patchy skin on face, peeing or feeling as though I have to pee every half hour and trouble taking deep breaths. But also positive ones, such as movement that I can see and touch and a large protruding belly.
What I miss: My skinny self, but it's all for the good of the baby. I love checking out my week 9 pics and right around there, I used to think I was chubby...ha!
Cravings: Mac and cheese, cereal still (the type changes on a weekly basis), chocolate milk, sprite, and water at night - although I try to cut back so I don't have to pee often.
What I am looking forward to: Wednesday at 1:30pm! We have our next check up and although I don't want to weigh in, especially after all the holidays, I can't wait to get to see our little Peanut again with our quick ultrasound and find out what 'she' is! I just pray that everything falls into place to let us find out that day, i.e. tech being available, machine working, baby cooperating, etc...
It was sad that we had to go celebrate the life of Grandma Bachel and that she won't get to meet our little bundle, but she will one day. It's crazy to think that God already knows what our little bundle will look like and who 'she' will be. I loved getting to meet all the family on Ryan's side that I had not yet met and can't wait for them all to meet our little bundle!
