22 weeks of belly love

How Far Along:  22 weeks

Size of baby:  The size of a spaghetti squash, about 11 inches and 1 pound.  Baby M was weighing in at 13 ounces at the ultrasound on 12/13/11.

Gender:  Thinking a girl because of her stubbornness with not opening her legs during the ultrasound...  and because of the first ultrasound.

Maternity Clothes:  Same as before, maternity pants all the way except for my comfies.  Which those are even becoming unfittable just because they fall down often since my big belly is pushing them down always :-)  shirts are most comfy when they are maternity and non maternity (aka t-shirts) just make me feel like a balloon...

Movement:  Much more noticeable!  I was laying on the couch on Saturday morning 12/24/11, and was able to see my belly 'bounce' when the baby kicked.  I felt a kick once from the outside and tried to get Ryan to feel it.  Tonight and all day today though she was moving around like a maniac!

Sleep:  Waking once or twice to pee and tossing from side to side all night.

Symptoms:   Heartburn most definitely all day long...  My hips/legs have started to fall asleep and ache at night and some lower back pain.  Other than that, our little peanut moving around and kicking!  Great feeling!  Oh shortness of breath :-)  often and feeling full quickly yet hungry all the time.

What I miss:  Not much, my thinner legs and butt though :-) ha!

Cravings:  Nothing really just whatever strikes...  I want coffee all the time but I limit myself to one cup a day, occasionally I'll have two but I'll try to make sure to drink extra water.

What I am looking forward to:  Again this week...finding out the sex of this little peanut!  We only hope that she cooperates.

22 week bump shot in front of our Christmas tree!  You can see Elly peeking out down there towards the bottom, that's Mason's favorite ornament, he knows her name and will go 'beg' by her if you ask where she is....ha!

for good measure, I suppose we should start a weekly 'bare belly' shot to track progress and not hide the bump!  Merry Christmas!
