How Far Along: 23 weeks
Size of baby: The size of a large papaya, about 10.5 to 11.8 inches and about 12.7 to 20.8 ounces. According to my weekly book, baby is the size of a small doll.
Gender: Still feeling that it's a girl. We shall *hopefully* find out a week from Wednesday. Pray to the Lord that Peanut cooperates...
Maternity Clothes: Same - definitely maternity as you can see from the weekly pic!
Movement: Definitely movement! I can now feel it from the outside, mostly on the sides. Of course, Ryan hasn't been able to feel it yet. Seems to happen in the morning and at night when I'm laying on my side. I was lying in bed this morning deciding when to wake up and had my hand on the side of my belly and (as I call *her*) Maddie kept kicking quite a few times. I need to just wake Ryan up and take his hand and put it on my belly.
Sleep: Just tossing and turning, worrying that if I lay on my belly a bit that I'm crushing our baby, ha!
Symptoms: Heartburn and indigestion, movement!!!, swelling of my upper legs (or they are just getting larger ha), few breakouts, swelling of the fingers, spider veins on my legs, dry lips and bloody/dry nose. Constant hunger yet full feeling all the time. Unable to take a full deep breath, which honestly freaks me out sometimes if I let myself think about it too much.
What I miss: Not all too much.
Cravings: Ice cream as of this week. I want it daily! I REALLY wanted Dunkin Donuts yesterday morning, and I'm talking one of every flavor ;-)
What I am looking forward to: Finding out what this little peanut inside of me is. It's killing me!
We went to register the other day and it was fun yet overwhelming. Everything is so expensive and you need so much stuff. We are still not finished as of yet, so back we go, hopefully once we figure out what are little nugget is!
